Dear Friends of the Wholeness Service,
Our theme of Hospitality and the Healing Hearth continued in our October service as Rev. Dr. Ann Hagmann focused on hospitality being Heart-Centered. Our troubled world can benefit from all the hospitality and love we can extend. A few tweaks to our service to add two separate candle lines, as well as communion lines seemed to work well. The sacred space nurtured by our prayers, songs, Scripture, sermon, candles, silence, and communion provided a place and time for healing and hope. We thank you for your prayers and presence. We hope those present found encouragement and increased wholeness.
We want to thank everyone who has donated time, energy or money to the services. Without the commitment of the people who make the services happen, they would not exist. God bless each of you. And thank you for the funds that offset expenses like candles, communion, and child care.
We are still in need of volunteers. We are open to a few musicians, especially singers. We REALLY need a couple of people to help with set up and take down. Set up takes around an hour or so; take down less. Also, people are welcome to volunteer on a part time basis, so they help some months but not others. Please pray that the Spirit will provide us with the people who are needed. If you would like to get involved, please reach out to us at volunteer@wholeness-service.org.
Our next service is Sunday November 18th at 6:30 pm at First United Methodist Church. Mary Meoli Johnson will focus on hospitality and Graciousness. It is a wonderful focus for the month of Thanksgiving. We will again be blest with heart opening music, meaningful prayers and intercessions, opportunity to light candles and receive private prayer, numerous prayer opportunities, silence, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Please continue to keep all the leadership and participants in your prayers.
Please let others know about our wholeness service opportunity. We are grateful to you for your interest and prayers. Happy Thanksgiving!
In Christ’s love,
Rev Dr Ann Hagmann
