Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
We gather again this Sunday evening, February 22, at 6:30PM in the San Gabriel Presbyterian sanctuary in Georgetown, Texas to continue our journey of “Hope Beyond All Hope.” In our time together we will be thinking about how we remain a people of hope, which can be quite elusive in these days where our world groans in chaos and turbulence.
So we need each other. And what better way to explore this challenge of being a hopeful people than to join together as God’s community sharing song, scripture, silence, communion and prayer. In this time we will be exploring Romans 8:18-30 where Paul writes of a glorious hope that will set us free to step into the light of God’s glory. This is not a hope that we can necessarily see, but it is a hope that comes from the Spirit breathing strength into our weakness and peace into our turmoil.
You are invited this Sunday evening at 6:30PM to join together at San Gabriel Presbyterian Church to be still, listen, pray, and receive whatever gifts God has for you on this night.
