Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
As we pass through the season of Lent and approach Easter Sunday, it is easy to find ourselves reflected in the lives of the Disciples of Jesus in the days and weeks leading up to the Crucifixion and Resurrection. There are festivals and funerals. We experience hunger and thirst, both physical and spiritual. We witness political and societal power struggles, and eagerly wait for Jesus to put a finger on the scales and take control. We cry out to Him for help, we chastise Him, and we struggle to understand what Jesus wants of us. And we, like the Disciples before us, wonder “How long, O lord? Is this finally the day?”
Come join us in song, prayer and meditation as we gather together in our common search for Easter Hope. Whether you find yourself in the shadow of the cross or the light of the empty tomb, you are welcome among us.
