Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
The world in which we are living is not a peaceful world. Living in the midst of division, competing voices, and brokenness: how is God calling us to respond? Friends, God is extending a holy invitation to gather in a time of music, Word, light, Table and silence. These are the gifts of our monthly Wholeness Service. We begin this new season of worship on Sunday, September 28 for our monthly time together. What a gift of love from God. You are invited to come and take this opportunity to be still and listen for what God might be saying to you.
This year the theme is “Hope Beyond All Hope“ and this month we will focus on “The Courage to Hope.” Together we will be listening for God’s word of hope found in Romans 4:18-22. Hoping against all hope, Abraham believed (Romans 4:18). Even when hope may feel like a distant dream, God invites us to walk by faith and not by the way things appear. Can you be an Abraham?
