October, 2019 Prayer Letter

Greetings of grace and peace to the Friends of the Wholeness Services.

It is wonderful to say that the body of Christ came together in a beautiful way on September 22nd when we began our 2019-2020 season!  Thank you to the many people who set everything up and provided all the elements of the service.

Returning to First United Methodist Church’s sanctuary felt like “returning” home.  Last season was a major time of transition and change, but we are settled in now, and we thank you for all of your prayers throughout the season.  I think they worked!

A woman commented to me last month how nice it was to be able to sit off by herself and yet feel a part of everything.  It is a major prayer achievement that we have achieved a space where people can feel comfortable sitting anywhere, together or off alone, yet experience the service equal well.   Praise God!

Our season’s theme is Loving God – Seeking the Sacred in the Ordinary.  Our focus this month is Changing Seasons.  We have a guest minister Rev. John Clifford who will bring the message, as well as celebrate communion.  Please lift-up John and all of us that the service be what God needs it to be.  Pray that we will experience worship and connection with the Divine and the healing and wholeness that brings. Thank you for your prayers and faithfulness.  The Lord is pleased.

In Christ’s love,
