Georgetown Ecumenical Wholeness Service brings you a virtual service on the Fruit of the Spirit, “Self-Control.” Listen to a meditation by Rev. Steve Buchele, sing Taizé songs with our virtual choirs, and take some quiet moments for contemplative prayer, candle lighting, and intercession. Featured in this service: a mini-tour of Taizé Common Prayers with virtual choirs and scripture readings contributed by the Wholeness Service congregation.
In 2010, Ginger Mann was invited to play flute in the Georgetown Ecumenical Wholeness Services by founder, Dr. George Biggs. In 2014, Ginger received a call to lead the Taizé Prayer (music) pillar the ministry. She went on to work with the Community of Taizé (France), and received mentorship on their worship practices. With her husband, Sean, she completed her pilgrimage to Taizé in 2017. A software developer by trade, Ginger lives in Georgetown with her family. Along with her music ministry, she maintains the website and social media presence for the Wholeness Service.
