In his brief meditation, Jim Deuser will reflect on joy in the midst of such turmoil in the world today. We achieve, Jim believes, in allowing suffering to transform us enabling the love of God and neighbor to bring us to the Kingdom of Heaven. The key, Jim thinks, is belief in and deeper understanding of the Body of Christ as proclaimed by St. Paul. Jim explores the need to accept those that differ from us, particularly in today’s political and religious climate. Jim believes, based on scripture and noted spiritual guides, that prayer is the answer to all our questions, concerns, and confusions.
